If you have asked three photographers in Prague for a quote, you have probably received three very different numbers. The difference is rarely explained. Here is how to read it.

A lower price usually means less of something

Less time on site, fewer photographers, slower delivery, fewer edited images or a narrower licence. None of these is wrong for every event — a two-hour networking evening does not need a premium setup — but you should know which of them you are giving up.

Four questions that make quotes comparable

1. How many hours, and how many photographers? Parallel sessions need a second person.
2. When is the full gallery delivered? Ours arrives within 48 hours as standard.
3. Roughly how many edited images? For a full conference day with one photographer, 300–500 is typical.
4. What can you do with them? Your own marketing, press and social media should be included without time limits.

When premium is worth it

Pay for experience when the event cannot be repeated: a keynote with a well-known speaker, a signing ceremony, a product launch with press, a VIP guest list. In those moments the difference between an experienced event photographer and a cheaper option shows in the one picture that matters.

When a simpler option is fine

An internal workshop, a team lunch or a small reception rarely needs more than one photographer for a few hours. Our coverage starts at €169 for exactly these events.

What stays the same at every price

Whatever you pay, some things should not be negotiable: the photographs are delivered on the date agreed, you can use them for your own communication, and the photographer arrives on time and dressed for the event. If a quote is unclear about any of these, ask before you sign.

A quick way to decide

List the three moments of your event that you absolutely need photographed. If each of them can happen only once and in front of important guests, choose experience. If they can be repeated or are informal, a simpler option will serve you well.
